About the College

GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is located on Gitam (Deemed-To-Be) University's main campus in Vizag. The institution can take-in upto 150 MBBS students annually. The institute is equipped with world class facilities to offer the right practical knowledge. The campus houses 11 operation theatres, 650 beds, central clinical laboratory, student labs, classrooms, library and modern blood banks. The faculty comprises seasoned professional with years of industry experience behind them. Our aim is to develop young apprentices into experienced medical professionals who will transform the health domain with their expertise and skills.
