Majors & Minors: How does it Work?
The major core consists of vital courses directly relevant to a student's chosen major. These courses offer in-depth knowledge and specialised skills in the major field, ensuring a strong foundation and expertise. They provide a comprehensive understanding and specialisation in the chosen area of study.
The minor core includes required courses that relate to the student's major in a secondary field, offering a basic understanding of another subject area. For example, a biology major with a chemistry minor may take organic chemistry, biochemistry, and physical chemistry courses.
Gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure through our multi-disciplinary program's mandatory internship between the 2nd and 3rd years. This internship bridges classroom learning with real-world application, preparing you for the professional realm.
