MD (Pathology)

An MD, also known as a Doctor of Medicine in Pathology, specializes in studying various diseases and the causes and effects of those diseases. After completing an MBBS program, a student may pursue an MD in Pathology, a postgraduate degree that takes two years to complete.

Candidates must first have earned their MBBS from an institution recognized as eligible for the MD Pathology program. In addition to this, candidates are required to have worked in an internship for an entire year.

The entrance examinations' results are considered when choosing students for the MD Pathology program. Candidates must pass one of several entrance exams, including NEET PG, AIIMS PG, JIPMER, and others, to be considered for admission to the MD program.
