Department of Mathematics

The Department of Applied Mathematics was started in the year 2003 and functions under College of Science. In 2019, the Department of Engineering Mathematics was merged with the Department of Applied Mathematics of Institute of Science

State-of-the-art facilities

The Department has Computational Lab, besides the state of art Library and Central Computing facilities of the University. The 32-member on board team are well qualified and are actively involved in research, consultancy and guiding students interested in pursuing a career in Mathematics.

Highly Qualified Faculty

With expertise in various fields of Mathematics and Statistics, the faculty have published more than 700 research papers in reputed national and international peer reviewed journals and guided more than 30 students for their Doctoral degrees.
