About
Dr.N. Prasanna Lakshmi has been working as an Assistant Professor of English, since 2012 in GITAM, Hyderabad. She has an M.A. in English Language and Literature and M.A.in Linguistics. Besides this she has PGCTE and PGDTE from EFL University, M.Phil, M.Sc. Psychology, PG Diploma in Applied Linguistics, and Ph.D from Osmania University. She is found to be inquisitive and presented papers in various National and International Conferences, Seminars and Workshops. Her doctoral thesis was on A Comparative Study of R.K. Narayan and Arundhati Roy: Linguistic and Literary Aspects. She has been associated with several committees and other University related programs. She has contributed to research in the form of publications in both international and national level. Worked in an International Project entitled Indian English Conversations: A Sociolinguistic Study at EFL University. She received the prestigious INDO-US (Education SUMMIT 2016) Education Award for Research Excellence in Hyderabad. Besides, she won Distinguished Faculty Award by VENUS International Awards VIFA-2017 in Chennai, and received the Ideal Teaching Award -ITAP 2019 in Hyderabad.Education
