Dr. Arpeata Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at GITAM University, Hyderabad. She holds a doctorate in Gender Studies from the University of Hyderabad. She has done her M.Phil, M.Ed and B.Ed (English) from English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. She was awarded the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship in 2018. She has qualified for UGC-NET in Women’s Studies. She has previously worked at Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru.
