Purna Chandra Rao obtained his Ph.D. degree (2006) from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT)-Osmania University, Hyderabad. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the TU-Clausthal, Germany. He worked as a Process scientist for 5 years before joining GITAM in 2013. His research work primarily focused on sustainable manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
