The research area of Dr. V. Koteswara Rao, MSc (HCU), PhD (IISc),and Postdoc (India and USA), is on the Design, synthesis and characterization of new Inorganic-, Organic-, and MOFs Materials. He has overall 15 years of teaching and reaching experience. He is a recipient of Young Faculty Award-2016, GATE-2004 and CSIR (2003 and 2004). He guided 8 M.Sc. students for their projects and is guiding 4 PhD scholars. He has overall 30 publications (ACS, Elsevier, Springer, RSc, Wiley, IUCr).

- (1) Design and synthesis of new Inorganic-, Organic-, and Metal-Organic Framework (MOFs) Materials using various synthesis methods (solvothermal/ mechanochemical/ microwave-assisted/ Ionic-liquids-assisted).
- (2) Characterization of the synthesized materials for Structural transformation studies include single-crystal to single crystal studies, magnetism, photo-luminescence for up-conversion behavior, reversible solvent-exchange behavior, gas sorption and separation, catalysis, electrode materials, thermoelectric properties, etc.
- (3) Post-synthetic modifications of the prepared framework materials for structure-property relationships.
- (4) Applying efficient teaching methodologies equipped with latest updated adaptive technologies and providing awareness on the correlation of my classroom teachings with the current research findings in the Chemistry courses.
- (5) Training and motivating the MSc. and B.Sc. students to clear GATE, CSIR, JAM, etc. towards research.
