About

Mr. SubhashChavadaki is working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department in GITAM School of Technology, Bengaluru Campus. He is also Assistant Director-Admissions, GITAM, Bengaluru from past 3 years. He has completed his B.E. in Industrial and Production Engineering, M.Tech in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from RVCE, Bengaluru under VTU, Belgaum. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D in GITAM.

During his B.E, His final year project titled “Conceptual Designs of Farmers Friendly Pesticide Sprayer based on Customer Voice” was carried out on Community Service Project worth of 2lakhs funded by Govt. of Karnataka. He also undergone training on pneumatics, hydraulics and programmable logic controller(PLC) at VTU-BOSCH Rexroth Center of Competence in Automation Technology, Mysore.

Before joining GITAM he served as Assistant Professor at Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal Campus, Uttarakhand, he was in-charge of Mechanical Engineering Department and played a key role in establishing Foundry and Forging lab, Machine Shop, Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics lab, Robotics lab, Heat and Mass Transfer lab, Metrology and Measurements lab. His area of interest are Pneumatics, Hydraulics and PLC.

He handled subjects like Engineering Mechanics, Manufacturing Technology, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machinery Systems, Measurements and Metrology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Economics. His passion towards teaching profession always keeps him busy in conveying knowledge to students.
