B.Sc. Emergency Medical Technology

The GITAM (Deemed to be University) offers B.Sc. Emergency Medical Technology, which is a three years, full-time programme. We teach the students how to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) to the ill and wounded and then transfer them to a medical institution within a set time. They are instructed to uphold patient safety, which also entails legal responsibilities to the general public and patients. The emergency technicians take care of the patient's well-being by performing the essential interventions specified in the practice's scope.

Graduates of the program will be equipped to serve as emergency medical technicians, perform basic pre-hospital functions, and treat a variety of medical trauma situations utilising the proper tools and supplies.
