Master of Science (M.Sc. Nursing) – GITAM Institute of Nursing

The Master of Science (M.Sc. Nursing) programme at GITAM Institute of Nursing is a two-year postgraduate course designed to prepare highly skilled nursing professionals. The programme offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core courses, advanced practice courses, clinical courses, and clinical practicum. It aims to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills required to provide compassionate and professional nursing care to individuals, families, communities, and organizations. The curriculum is aligned with global standards and is designed to meet the demands of modern healthcare. The specializations we provide include - Medical-Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing and Obstetrical Gynaecological Nursing.

Master of Science (M.Sc. Nursing) – GITAM Institute of Nursing

Eligibility

Applicants must be a registered B.Sc. Nurse with a minimum of one-year clinical experience in any critical care unit. The B.Sc. Nursing degree must be obtained from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. A minimum of 55% aggregate marks must be achieved in the B.Sc. (N) program. Applicants must hold a pass in a qualifying examination from a recognised central/state university or its equivalent. A rank obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT) for Nursing PG - 2022 is mandatory.
