
Physiology department is located on the first floor of the college building. It was established by Dr Subba Rao Goteti in 2014 one year before the arrival of the first batch in the year 2015 as per guidelines issued by then Medical Council of India. After Sir retired in 2021 June it was headed by Dr Ragam Ravi Sunder till October 2023. At present the department is headed by Dr Swaroop Chand Bhansali.
It has 1 Hematology Lab, 1 Mammalian lab 1 Amphibian Lab, 1 Clinical Lab, 1 Research Lab & 2 Demo Rooms & Library
Hematology lab & Clinical Lab is used to train MBBS, BDS, Physiotherapy & Paramedical Students
Other Labs & Demo rooms are used to train MBBS students in the lines required by CBME like skill training small group teaching conducting quizzes, tests, seminar etc
At present no services are offered by the department to the patients. Planning to start Autonomic Function Testing in future.

Department does not have its own post graduates but offers training to post graduated of medical and dental stream students during their basic sciences period for 1 month altogether.

State level CME cum Workshop was conducted by the department on Feb 8th 2025. It was attended by 100 plus participants with the target audience being postgraduates and Assistant Professors.

2 credits points were awarded by Andhra Pradesh Medical council the above.
