Brief introduction about the department
The Department of Forensic Medicine at GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSR) plays a vital role in bridging the gap between medicine and law. It focuses on the application of medical knowledge to aid in the administration of justice. The department is involved in teaching undergraduate medical students the principles of forensic medicine, toxicology, and medical jurisprudence.
