Oto-Rhinolaryngology
Department of ENT, GIMSR is one of the dedicated departments of GIMSR. The team consists of highly qualified and experienced specialists, along with the most advanced technology and equipment; making the department one of the best centres in Coastal Andhra Pradesh offering diagnostic, therapeutic and research services, related to ENT diseases.
Initially the department was run in the Health Centre at GITAM campus. In 2014, it was shifted to GIMSR hospital now consists of 08 highly qualified and experienced teaching and surgical faculty.
The Department features an Out-patient wing with Endoscopy facility, Speciality clinics for Otology, Rhinology, Cancer, Audiometry, Speech therapy and Hearing aid trials. The Operation theatre is equipped with highly sophisticated equipment to perform almost all advanced MICROSCOPIC& ENDOSCOPIC SURGERIES.
Patients are admitted into the well maintained ward, with round the clock services given by trained nursing personnel for inpatient care.
Specialist doctors are available, on call, round the clock for all emergencies after the regular working hours.
ENT department is one of the best departments to teach and train the UG medical students with all the latest advances.
Patients from different parts of the state, and also from other states like Orissa and Chattisgarh, visit our hospital for quality ENT care. We also attend all the patients coming with various schemes and insurance services.
