- Engineering Knowledge: Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and biotechnology to the solution of complex problems in the field of biotechnology.
- Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex biotechnological problems using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- Design/Development of Solutions: Design innovative solutions for complex biotechnology-related problems and systems, considering public health, safety, cultural, societal, and environmental concerns.
- Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods, including designing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, and synthesizing information to provide valid conclusions.

- Utilize molecular biology, genetic engineering, and recombinant DNA technology to develop innovative solutions in healthcare, agriculture, and environmental management, addressing challenges such as disease treatment, crop improvement, and ecosystem conservation.
