Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering

The PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering at GITAM School of Technology, Hyderabad Campus, is designed to cultivate advanced research skills and a deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies in the field. This programme fosters critical thinking and innovation in students to address complex challenges in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must hold a Master's degree (MTech or ME) in the relevant engineering field. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree (BE or BTech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE), Instrumentation Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Medical Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent degree is acceptable. Additionally, a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Electronics may also be considered.

Scope of the Programme

The PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering provides an in-depth exploration of advanced topics such as signal processing, wireless networking, microelectronics, and telecom protocols. Doctoral candidates will engage in cutting-edge research, preparing them for careers in diverse sectors, including telecommunications, aerospace, and defence electronics.
