Dr Shashank Singh earned his Ph.D. in modern history from the Centre for Historical Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University. He had been awarded the Fox International Fellowship by Yale University in 2022-23. He also received JRF from UGC in 2019, which was upgraded to a SRF in 2021. He has presented his work at the the University of Toronto and the University of North Carolina. Previously, he has taught at the Sri Venkateswara College of the University of Delhi.
