Raviteja Rambarki holds an MA and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Hyderabad. His doctoral research examined the provincial elites of a North Andhra town, offering insights into regional power structures and their social networks. His broader research interests lie at the intersection of economic sociology and urban studies, with a focus on caste and the economy, Elite formation and Inequality studies, and the Sociology of popular culture, particularly Telugu cinema and literature.
