Rajdeep Chowdhury is from West Bengal. He pursued PhD at Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science in Kolkata. After completing PhD, he moved to Texas A&M University (USA) for his first postdoc. He did his second postdoc in Germany where he woked as Humboldt fellow. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at GITAM Hyderabad. His research interest includes fluorescence spectroscopy and high resolution fluorescence microscopy.
