Dr. Maalyada is a renowned Kuchipudi exponent, academic, and researcher in Performing Arts and Indology. She holds a B. Tech in Computer Science, Masters degrees in Kuchipudi, English, and Indology, and a Ph.D. in Dance. She is currently pursuing a second Ph.D. on South Indian Ramayana Narratives. A recipient of multiple National and International awards, including the Ugadi Puraskaram, she also serves as Resource Person for Kuchipudi courses on SWAYAM, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
