Education

Ph. D.

I study the statistical physics of glassy systems, learning machines and biological systems. I earned my B.Tech (Eng. Physics) from IIT Bombay and MS/PhD from JNCASR. I completed postdoctoral work at Rockefeller University, Saskatchewan, and Yale University. Before joining GITAM, I served as an Assistant Professor at Nagoya University, Japan. My research blends theory and computation to uncover principles of complex, out-of-equilibrium systems.
