Dr. Amrutha’s research explores literature, performance, and visual culture, focusing on how aesthetic experience is shaped across diverse media and cultural contexts. Drawing from classical Indian aesthetic theories, she examines symbolic expressions in multilingual traditions, performative practices, and digital narratives. She collaborates on international projects integrating digital technology and the arts, engaging with diverse cultural voices and expressive practices.

  • Check Icon Art in Motion: School of Art and Design, Coventry University (UK) (project in progress). -Designed and delivered a Collaborative Online International Learning course on Indian aesthetics and Hasthābhinaya- the language of hand gestures along with Dr Divya Nedungadi & Dr Joanna Sperryn-Jones -Project on Embodied Pedagogy through Indian Performance Traditions for Mental Health and Learning has been selected as one of the first 5 projects for the dual degree PhD programme (Supervisory Team Member)
