Akbar Ali is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam Campus. He holds an M.Com and an MBA from Pondicherry University and has qualified for UGC–JRF. His doctoral work at the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad, focuses on FinTech. His work has been published in The British Accounting Review (ABDC A*), and he has presented at several international conferences.
