Akbar Ali is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam Campus. He holds an M.Com and an MBA from Pondicherry University and has qualified for the UGC–JRF. His doctoral work at the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad, focuses on FinTech. His research has been published in leading finance and accounting journals, and he has presented his work at various international conferences.
