Accommodation

Separate hostel facilities are provided for girls and boys. All hostels are equipped with solar water heaters for hot water supply. The students' stay in the hostels enables them to imbibe a different lifestyle and get involved in activities including yoga, meditation, sports, music, etc.

International students are expected to live in the hostel during their programme of study. Students are not permitted to live in rented houses, lodges, either alone or in groups.

GITAM attaches great importance to the nature of lifestyle in and out of the campus. Food prepared under hygienic conditions is served in the student dining halls and the canteens from a central kitchen.

Remedial course in English

An international student who has been granted admission to any of the programmes after passing the qualifying examination from a statutory Board or University outside India may have to appear at the Proficiency Test in English conducted by the Institution or any other organization.

International students who have passed the qualifying examination in the English medium are exempted from this test.
