Study M.A. Applied Psychology
The M.A. Economics is a post-graduate program which is divided into four semesters across 2 years. The programme focuses on providing the students with a mix of theoretical knowledge in Applied Psychology and practical orientation in the applied aspects of Psychology.
The curriculum lays the baseline for an analytical understanding of the applied aspects of psychology. The students are made to go through the depth of the subjects after which they are evaluated regularly on different aspects of their learning.
The programme prepares a learner for a career in Psychology, as applied to Health, Indian, Clinical Psychology and HRM and more.
Scope of M.A. Applied Psychology
The scope of the program is to create experts who can make interventions to enhance individuals’ lives and build resilience and improve quality of life. The programme promotes experiential learning through hands-on training in Internships and cases.
The students are taught to make appropriate use of different psychological concepts, theories, and research findings to design and plan interventions for individual, social, and cultural issues. This teaching pedagogy prepares the students for different career opportunities.
