LL. M. (IPR & Cyber Law)

The L.L.M (IPR & Cyber Laws) is a 1-year full-time programme which aims at imparting quality legal education leading to excellence and innovation. The postgraduate programme specialises in all the aspects related to international Intellectual Property Rights and Global Cyber Laws.

The programme covers the ideas of primary and impelled guarded alteration (Intellectual Property) and reform of law and order. It is also related to topics like cyber law experts, cybercrime, etc.

Scope of L.L.M (IPR & Cyber Laws)

The programme has been designed in such a way that it creates an awareness of the ethical, social, political, national, international and economic context in which the basic values and principles of the law are competing.

Since the programme has focused on two broad subjects of IPR and cyber law, the students learn about the international and Indian laws that protect and manage intellectual property and the special rules and laws laid down by the government of India to curb crimes such as cyberbullying, theft, fraud or defamation.

The programme deals with laws on various major intellectual property rights, which includes trademarks, copyright, designs, common law and patents. It also covers the laws laid down by the Indian government related to cyberspace.

Check Eligibility

  • The Candidate should have passed Graduation in Law (LL.B / BA.LLB / BBA.LLB / BSc.LLB / B.Com.LLB) from any recognized University with not less than 50% marks (45% in case of SC / ST and persons with disability). Candidates awaiting results may also apply for the programme. Admission into the LLM programme is based on the LSAT / CLAT programme. As per the orders of the Supreme Court, there is no age limit for candidates who wish to pursue LLM.
