Lalitha Sindhuri, a Kuchipudi artist, scholar, and choreographer, completed her MPA and Ph.D. in Dance from the University of Hyderabad. She is a Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Fellow for the year 2017-18. She has given over 1000 performances across India, the USA & Paris and received national and state awards like the Balashree Award from the then President of India, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, and the Balaratna Award from the CM of Andhra Pradesh. She received HRD, NCERT, UGC JRF & Fulbright scholarships
