Department of Microbiology and FST

The department since its inception in 1998 has rendered unmatched service to the discipline of Microbiology. The program of Food science and Technology, was started in 2008 on the basis of the large demand for the food technologists. Highly experienced teachers with impressive portfolios of research and teaching expertise constitute the department.

The mission of the department is to impart high quality graduate and undergraduate education and carry out leading-edge research in the discipline of Computer Science and Applications and meet the needs / challenges. The academic emphasis is on the all round personality development of the student combining theoretical, application and general skills.
