Sasikala Alappat is from Kottayam in Kerala. She has a Master’s in Gandhian Studies from Mahatma Gandhi University She is UGC NET Qualified and has a Ph. D in Gandhian Studies from IIT Madras. Her research interests include Modern Indian History, Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.
