Started in 1980 in
the picturesque city of Visakhapatnam with the
vision to become a global leader in professional
education, the College of Engineering GITAM has
evolved into one of the most outstanding
institutions of higher learning over the last 26
years. This phenomenal growth owes itself to the
tireless efforts of the renowned industrialist,
parliamentarian and philanthropist, Dr. MVVS Murthi
who has been guiding the destiny of GITAM with
missionary zeal.
The College offers
a basket of undergraduate courses in nine
Engineering disciplines with an annual intake of 840
