    Areas of teaching and research are international trade law, Intellectual Property Rights and Trade and Environment. More than two decades of experience in teaching, research and academic administration. Studied the judicial systems and practices in the USSR. Organized several seminars, conferences, and Programmes in entrepreneurship and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Current area of research is Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Published many articles in journals, Offered consultancy in IPR, Labour law, women and development issues. She authored a book on “Intellectual Property Law”.

Worked as training consultant to HSBC, Wipro & GE Capital. Awarded the ICSSR Doctoral fellowship for Ph.D work.
