The Department was established during the year 2010-2011. It offers B.Tech. (Civil Engineering) with an annual intake of 120. The vision of the department is to achieve national and international recognition in Teaching, Consultancy and R&D in Civil Engineering and to fulfill our obligation to the society to provide excellent graduates to serve the Civil Engineering Industry in India. The Faculty working in the department are well qualified from reputed academic institutions like IITs and IISc. The department hosts a Institution of Engineers (India) Chapter (Civil Engineering) under which forum, Expert Lectures, Students Seminars, Field Visits, Students symposia and Technical competitions are organized by the students under the guidance of the Faculty. The Department Library facilitates quick access of Books and Journals by Faculty and Students. The Department also has Academic Monitoring Committee (AMC) in which Senior Faculty and students are the members. The AMC reviews all academic matters including syllabus coverage, teaching quality, developmental activities and student concerns and issues on a regular basis.
