To provide individualized support to learners, the University has established study centres in identified educational institutions in different parts of the state. The learners can interact with the academic counselors, administrative staff on academic matters at the study centres. They can also make use of the audio-video facilities provided at the study centres. The services provided at the study centres are as follows:
a) Academic counseling for learners – programme-wise.
b) Personal counseling before and after admission to a programme.
c) Library services.
d) Online services in select centres.
e) Distribution of learning material.
f) Conduct of examinations.
g) Dissemination of information relating to admission, results of exams, etc.
Counseling facility may not be available to some programmes at all the study centres. Hence, the learners are advised to make sure that counseling facilities are available for the subject he / she has chosen, at the study centre opted for. Request for change of study centre is normally accepted subject to availability of seat for the programme and availability of required facilities at the new centre asked for. |
