2.4 Details of Admission Test GAT (PGT) – 2013 :
The duration of the test is 2 Hrs. The test consists of three sections.

Note :
- All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions), each question has four options out of
which one is the correct answer. Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks. 1 mark will be deducted from the socre for each wrong answer. The unanswered questions
/ incorrect answer will receive no marks.
- GATE qualified candidates will be exempted from appearing for GAT (PGT) 2013, but they need to apply
to GITAM University for admission before the last date and the candidate has to attend counselling as per
the schedule.
2.5 Syllabus for Admission Test
Section A:
40 questions on Quantitative (Mathematical) ability involving Arithmetic, Elementary Algebra, Geometry, Inequalities, Graphs (data interpretation), Sets, Relations and Functions etc.
Section B: 30 questions on Analytical / Logical Reasoning
Section C: 30 questions in Verbal Proficiency in English involving sentence completion, analogy, reading comprehension, antonyms, etc.

3.1 The GAT(PGP)-2013 (Online Admission Test) is conducted for admission to the following M.Pharmacy programs offered at Visakhapatnam Campus.
